Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Malie (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides guided hypnosis audio through our mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account and data.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address, name, and country.

Age. We collect age-related information as part of setting up and using your account.

Personalization data. We collect information related to how you use Malie so we can personalize your experience — for example, preferences, listening activity, and similar in-app signals that help us tailor content and recommendations.

Analytics and Crashlytics. We collect analytics and crash-reporting data to understand how the app is used and to diagnose and fix technical issues. This may include device information, app version, usage events, and diagnostic logs related to crashes or errors.

How we use your information

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide, operate, and improve the Malie app
  • Personalize content and your overall experience
  • Monitor performance, reliability, and crashes
  • Respond to support requests you send us
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable

How we share information

We use trusted service providers that help us run Malie — for example, infrastructure for authentication and data storage, analytics, and crash reporting. These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.

We do not sell your personal information.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from within the Malie app. When you delete your account, we delete the associated data stored in our database.

Some limited information may remain in backups or logs for a short period, or where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Analytics or crash data that has already been processed by third-party tools may also persist according to those providers' retention practices.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Malie is not directed at children under 16 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Malie after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
